Who shares in a sale
Credit is built into every episode
Every episode already records the exact simulation release, world, robot and task that produced it. For paid work, it also records which pilot played. That record is what makes sharing possible: a sale can always trace back to the people behind each episode. If you uploaded the simulation yourself, you’re its creator, so a sale of its episodes pays your creator share. If you built it from parts made by others, the creator share is divided between the authors of those parts.Team episodes
When a dataset includes team runs, the pilot share of a sale is divided among the pilots in those runs, by seat. A robot author whose robot filled a seat shares in the creator part, alongside the authors of the world and task.Getting paid
- Creators and pilots connect a payout account through Stripe, which verifies their identity.
- Earnings from sales collect in your balance and are paid out in batches once they pass a minimum amount.
- You’ll be able to see which sales each payment came from.
Before you count on it
- A dataset might never sell, so revenue share isn’t guaranteed income.
- How each share is calculated, including how it’s divided among many pilots or several creators, will be set out before launch.
- Payouts will only be available in countries our payment processor supports.
